Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use ("Terms") set out the conditions under which YOM AKAKPO EI (hereinafter "the Publisher") makes the Cocorico service (hereinafter "the Service") available, and the conditions of use for any person accessing it (hereinafter "the User").

2. Description of the Service

Cocorico is a web and mobile application designed to prepare for the French civic naturalization examination (40-question / 45-minute / 80%-pass format). The Service offers:

• short lessons based on a corpus of multiple-choice questions: a portion is reproduced from the official document published by the French Ministry of the Interior ("Civic naturalization examination — Knowledge questions", version of 12 December 2025); the others — deepening questions, traps and scenarios — are written by Cocorico;
• mock exams reproducing the official format;
• subtitles in English and Chinese to make the content accessible to non-French speakers;
• a French audio track for every question, option and explanation;
• personalized progress tracking and review recommendations.

3. Access to the Service

Access to the Service requires creating an account via email and password, or via a supported identity provider (Google, Apple). The User undertakes to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.

Some features require the purchase of a Plan (Pass Sprint, Sécurité or Jusqu'à la Réussite); the terms of these Plans are described in our Terms of Sale.

4. User commitments

The User undertakes to:

• not use the Service for illegal purposes or purposes contrary to public morals;
• not attempt to circumvent the Service's security measures;
• not automatically extract content (scraping, reverse engineering);
• not share their credentials with third parties;
• use the Service in good faith and in accordance with its educational purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The purchase of a Plan or the creation of a free account does not entail any transfer of rights over the protected elements of the Service. The User benefits from a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use for the duration of their Plan.

6. Availability and maintenance

The Publisher uses its best efforts to keep the Service accessible 24/7, subject to maintenance operations and force-majeure events. No absolute availability guarantee is given.

7. Liability

Cocorico is a preparation tool. Its content reflects the format of the exam as published by the Ministry of the Interior on the date of its update. The Publisher does not guarantee actual success in the official examination, which depends on many external factors (test-day conditions, nervousness, oral comprehension, etc.).

The Publisher's liability cannot be engaged in the event of the User's failure in the official exam, nor for any indirect damage suffered as a result of using the Service.

8. Personal data

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

The User may delete their account at any time from the Profile area, or by writing to contact@leandre.io. Deletion results in data erasure within 30 days (excluding statutory retention obligations).

The Publisher may suspend or delete an account in case of serious breach of these Terms, after notification by email.

10. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any judicial action, in writing to contact@leandre.io. Failing agreement, the dispute may be submitted to the European online dispute-resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

The French courts will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
